What J said...... + Blur is a fun one to use too, lets yuou dodge their shots etc, whlie you stay mobile with a hip fire SAW, AR, or SMG - I was using a Syphon Tacc last night to good effect. I had to get ammo alot, but the fire rate kept the syphon processing... and keeping me alive, LOL

Electric Berzerker Shotgun cuts down shield and corrosive breaks down armor/shield
had anybody tried to flashbang these guys? combined with intimidation?, also big boomers and ground pounders should also work great against these guys since they huddle in groups

I was going to dust off "Collateral Damage" - my Big Boomer (With a health recharge on reload!) and try it out tonight. I want to stick one(well 5) to the face and wait for them to get in a group, LOL

Sludge RL's would be a nice secondary weapon. Hit them with the sticky icky and then BOOM'em

There is a spot on the road between Muir and Mine 99 - I think it's Root Run or something, it's name flashes when you drive by it. There are two emergencies that spawn right next to each other. Do one, then the other, by the time you have the second done, the first one has respawned. Rinse repeat.... also since it's close to Muir when you die..... and you probably will (Like me, LOL) it's a quick drive back.

The one is in the road itself, and the second is off in a field to the right. It spawns with POWs most of the time, so look for those and you are in the right spot.

syphon saw works well they seem immune to stun also the healing syphon offers helps a ton...

I am sure syphon works marvelously considering it works well against anything. My one and only Volge encounter so far, I was rocking an electric VOT Auto Fragger and an Electric VBI SS-2 Ranger and a flashbang. They were definitely getting proc'd by the electric although I don't recall them being 'stunned'. I just remember seeing the 7 dmg tick from the electric.

Yeah, completed this Pursuit by continuous spawning near a Volge instance!!

I would piss myself if it was the DLC as well...and it is on a Tuesday....(most dlc's seem to get released on Tuesdays and Thursdays in congruence with PSN/XBOX store updates)

However, I would be almost as happy if it were Volge Sieges. Either one would be awesome
