I soloed the Volge in most emergencies i encountered them, I agree they are tough cookies to crack. I was using only Syphon Vot Blast Rifle and my Fragnova with a rebel shield on. Good advice is to use hit in run tactics and use tactical movements in cover. I hope this helps everyone.

Blur, wolfhound, syphon tachmag. Use wolfhound till you need hp switch back to hound, when the boombers or elite come out use blur so they can't knock you back or knock you down, super easy, super cheesy.

On a side note, I am thinking of re-specing my perks to pick up some of the Combat medic ones! I have a Tacc Auto Shottie with Poop Shoes and a +30 or +40 Revive rate boost on it, combined with the perks I could really beast in a Volge Emergency and (Fingers Crossed) Sieges. Pair that with my Health recharging Big Boomer...... Could be a hell of alot of fun.

anyone know a good place to farm volges?

last night it seemed that every emergency in san Francisco was volge. I had em on both sides of me at times. fully leveled the xp on a meteor bolter in about 35 minutes, along with 2 assault rifles lol

I tried Yin (elec) on them and the damage was great (beast of an FRC assault), but when Yang(radiation) hit their azz, they got chopped up. those shields were dropping fast.

It's not the DLC, and they are not just going to release it without notice, I believe when it comes out, it will come with a lot of notice and fan-fare being the first DLC. We will know the date well before it gets released.

Edit: back to op, my opinion, the Volge are awesome, finally an opponent that is difficult and require some thinking to take down.
