    Bunny Hop Bozo's

take comfort in the fact that they have to buy a new controlller every month because they wore out the X button. I hear Trion is removing the jump feature as it is unnecessary in game and causing a lot of consternation among the skilled PvP players who dont need hop around like crackheads on NoS to avoid damage. lol, i bet all the bunny hop boys just went into a panic. probably gonna get ONE of their mommies to write a letter to Trion. btw, HELLO admin, censorship powers-ACTIVATE.

If they were skilled, they would aim and hit bunny hoppers...

Which would be effective in case weapons like pistols weren't horrible inaccurate when fired while moving or from the hip.

And ADS is a pain at close combat (at least for PC players) since it get tuned down to a certain value you can't change.
Since the off zoom aiming also determines your overall map awareness sacrificing it for a better ADS setting is not an option.

That's why on PC so many people use only weapons that don't require ADS.

Thus, by game default, trying to use a zoom weapon like a pistol in close combat means gimping yourself.

I for my part am no longer on my mousepad as soon as my opponent has finished his 2nd jump.
    (Perfect off-zoom mouse speed though!)
That makes fluent aiming im possible.

And that again is why bunny hopping, shotguns and infectors are so effective.

I don't understand what the issue is, everyone has 2 weapons per load out. If your main issue is problems with ADS at close range than use a more conventional set up with a close range non-ADS weapon and a longer range ADS weapon.

If you're running a build with 2 weapons that generally need ADS then that's your own fault and more likely suited for longer range fights which is your choice. Just like people who run double non-ADS load outs, they're generally more adept at close range fights with the exception of the immunizer or infectors in general.

I created an alt couple of weeks ago, and leveled it to almost a 1k ego (will be 1k if I find a reason to play more on it ), I got immunizer fast enough, but never used it in pvp - I did good enough with other out of the vendor guns ( blue/purple), one of which has ego rating of 72 . I agree with you that immunizer is the easiest gun to use , but I doubt that it gives you good training overall

I run a Bonfire and a Heavy AR for long distances.
The Bonfire does work on medium and close distances, but I stands no chance against SMGs or Shotguns due to the zooming issues.

I could swap my Bonfire for a close combat weapon.
But in my opnion that's just plain stupid - to basically be forced to use carry one of 2 weapon types (SMG / SG) in order to stand a chance at close distances.
Not because other weapons would be weak at the distance, but because the Devs didn't implement a 2nd sensity option.

    E/P.S.:
Anyways - how did my post imply that I was using dual CC weapons?
I was talking about Pistols were gimped by unchangeable settings.

The problem with infectors is that there is no truly effective counter, apart from picking up one yourself. There are no 'infector resistance' shields (yet, otherwise I'd have one). There are no perks designed to counter infectors apart from MAYBE escape artist. Even then, Cankers and spawned bugs will still take you out. Rolling, jumping, climbing doesn't break dmg like all other effects in game. Bug can still track you no matter where you go or what you do. The gun is auto- homing, similar to a bmg and some launchers neither of which spawn bugs or vision blocking growths. Anyone supporting infectors by saying 'learn to play' is a worthless P.O.S. Even the 'best' infector wielding players in PvP (ps3 na) have admitted they should be nerfed, they have just jumped on the bandwagon, and that the gun is generally OP. So DEFCON, I'm calling you out bro. pow shtako
    FYI:

    1) Rolling does break the damage when you get infected.
    2) It's easy to run away from bugs...all you have to do is run...they are slowed down and eventually will die. Also you can shoot them with your weapon.

You claim to do well in pvp, but how can I really tell...you do play on PS3 and myself on Xbox. As far as the "calling me out"...lol. Wow I am super scared now...how exactly are you planning to call me out? We play on 2 different systems.

The bugs are not really that slow and if you look on the map when they move it is in a quick burst of movement and when jumping over them doesn't work it makes it annoying to have to run away. The damage that the bugs do is a bit much for pvp especially when a player can spawn 10 or so bugs very quickly and with the infector grenade continue to put out bugs.

I ask what can players do to adapt and combat the infector weapons that doesn't involve using one or begin forced to run away when confronted with one.

If they take away the infector's effectiveness then there is no other beginner/low skill gun to use and there would be even less people in PVP.

It is terrible. 95% of players are baddies bouncing around with detonators and infectors. ****ing scrubs all around.
