    Oculus Rift

    Anyone pre-order the Dev Kit?

    http://www.oculusvr.com/

Hearing nothing but good things. I was going to wait for the consumer version but I couldn't help myself and just pre-ordered the development kit which is $300.

Check the site I linked. lol

It's basically a VR. Dev kit is just a fancy way of saying a prototype, you can still get one if you're not actually a game developer.

If that new Kinnect is as good as the media guys that have tried it are making it out to be I can see some really unique and or weird experiences coming from a combonation of those two devices... but the expected retail price point ( $300 ) is still pretty high..

The Viruix Omni might only be around 399$. That a lot cheaper than I thought, so might actually get one when it comes out. Just need to clear a lot of room, so I don't trash half the room.
