Electric Shotguns are amazing

I learned something this morning about elemental enhanced weapons. If you Melee with them, they deploy their elemental effect on the target as well. I found a spot in area labeled "Demon"-something that kept on spawning those big blue mutants with the heavy machine guns. They used to give me a little trouble, but now I figured a way to take them down fast. I simply run up and melee them and while they are doing the "electric chicken" dance I lay waste with 2 quick shotgun shots to the face.

You would think that only the ammo fired from the gun had the elemental effect. This shock effect also can buy you some time to run if you get in trouble and you don't have time to reload. Melee, then run. Those flash-nades do the same kind of thing too, but those are pretty self explanatory.

i had a sniper that had the purple elemental power then when i had to melee someone they caught on fire i was like lolwut?

my loadout for PVP is VOT Auto-shotgun (electric), flash grenade, BMG, and Blur.. lol. i melee everyone into a stunned status then boomstick their faces
