Thanks for the great compliments, I am working hard for you all and enjoying immensely and feel very greatful to everyone who is onboard and supporting this.
I like the oldies station idea lol, and great catch phrase. I am not sure I will stick with "Rockin' the Bay". I think I might do a Slogan contest soon.
The bit rate is 32kbps. I am currently just running the radio off my home bandwidth, which lets me create 20 listener spots. I have been looking into hosts this week and picking the best one I can find for the most bang for the buck. If anyone knows where I can find a goose that lays a golden egg I could use a Dozen of Grade A.
Some songs, depending on their own quality will sound different. I get most of my new songs from Itunes then convert them to MP3 for my software. It doesn't like mp4s. If I can afford it I would like to get up to 64kbps which would be closer to FM radio quality. But the cost more than doubles for the same spots.
I sent Sledgehammer a message introducing myself and letting him know our/my goals. I don't expect anything special from Trion, I am doing this because I have fun at it and it will make the game even more enjoyable. Should they wish to grace me with anything I will accept it in gratitude, and I am happy to also promote the TV show and other events should they want to send me a commercial/promo for it, like I would for anyone else. I am sure they have people listening to make sure I am above board and have not made up their minds yet if I am good for them or not. I respect that. I would enjoy being stickied...

The play list is determined by those who tune in and make requests. I do not have a set play list, or format. I am going to have some talk shows, interviews and a lot of fun.
I just have to ask. Where the shtako did you find a fifth element techno mix? That was a wonderful surprise.
I have the Diva dance and Aknot Wot both from the sound track which I own. I love the movie. Might event steal some Bada Boom for something.
I might have to look at picking that sound track up...I didn't even know that mix existed.
