Wow this thread has gone crazy. I would say most people on the Internet are fake in some way. I think some people have had bad experiences. I have made many friends over the years gaming and thousands through my work online and rarely had anyone be really out of line. It may have a connection with having a strong sense of self and not taking any crap.

I do not believe anyone on the internet who does not have a web cam but then I also do not care; the Internet is not a replacement for real life interaction or dating lol

People can be one of two things on the internet:

1) This is who they really are, but they are suppressed (some better than others) by society to behave in the real world. However, when online they are free to indulge.

2) This is who they would like to be, but because they had loving parents and learned manners (like how to NOT SCREAM in a mic) they can act and behave politely in the real world while being a complete ****** on the internet.

Like yours Marcus. I'm not saying, I look like Natasha from Command and Conqueror 3. In fact I'm not even her same race... (no racism implied there, just meaning my skin tone is different is all).

In RL, I'm to myself and no one on the Internet but my virtual big sister, my ex, and my old friends and people I taught things to on other games have heard my voice. I'm the super soft spoken shy type person. You might not realize that speaking to me on the forums as I'm pretty darn vocal on here. Not many besides those people have proven worthy enough for me to break with my rule on not using voice chat with people I don't trust or know.

The same applies to pictures as well. I honestly won't ever post any real world (photo-realistic) picture of myself on the web. Why? Well one facial recognition software and screen locks... Two, I'm tired of patronizing males and their blow hard attitudes towards me. If you sense a feeling of misanthropy, you are close to being right as I do down right hate people at times for that type of attitude. Either one side thinks they are better or the other side... I prefer neutrals cause that really is what we all are.

If anything I'd post pictures of characters I've seen in games, my own artwork, or my own avatars in other games. That is as far to posting a real world picture I'll come. And if I'm this way, then so too are other girls as well... I can't be the only one, although our reasons may be different.

Hell, you can put any of your photo's into google and come back with millions of results.

Didn't even look at the rest of the images outside of the first one, since it belongs to a girl named Katie Skadoske, aka babyfayce. It's pretty funny that they used pictures of different girls, then had the nerve to try and insult people calling "her" out.

Honestly, I don't claim to know everything on the internet, like I said in one of my posts I don't care if she is a girl, or a guy, or an under cover FBI agent. What bothers me, besides her out right sexism towards males, is the fact she is claiming to be a real person she is not. Be it Zoe Kimball, Katie Skadoske or whoever. Googling her other Photo's shows a few different people. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Also, Using an Encyclopaedia Dramatica link was probably not one of my finest moments in retrospect.
