Like I've said before man, Never once questioned her sex. Girl gamers aren't as rare as people believe. but there is no way in hell she is who she claims to be, specifically when her photos don't match. Two of the girls in it, one went though so much at the hands of 4chans trolls and the other is a "model" who's photos have become widely used by trolls.
Well I guess I can understand (can any guy really understand women let alone women gamers??). My wife is a clan founder on Rappelz (WoW type MMO). Guys in the clan are always hitting on her, wanting to Skype, wanting her email or to text her. I just laugh then log in on my PC to tell them "Hi". Its funny watching them FT away when I get on.![]()
I'm afraid your about to become a victim of stray bullets
Here's my two cents...
I'm a male gamer, but I don't go around freaking out whenever I see a female gamer. However, I have made 15-25 female friends over the last couple of years. Yes I respect them equally and no, I'm not trying to get into their pants. I like the fact that gaming has accumulated a much larger "target audience" so to speak. It has evolved from a bunch of outcast teens in their basements and in arcades to just about everyone. This is not, however, the time to segregate male and female players. The OP is suggesting that female players should get together and shut out male players for a while. I completely understand female gamers wanting more female friends, as the internet can be a scary place. However, it's not necessary to shut out males just because they're men. If someone's giving you a hard time, ignore them and block comms. If that fails, get another male friend to claim to be your boyfriend or brother, and have him tell the guy off. I've done this once or twice and it always works.
As for the OP...
I won't call you a liar as far as your gender is concerned. However, I can see why some people think you're lying. Your initial post was extremely over the top stereotypically female in nature. It almost seemed like you were trying too hard to get the point across that you are female, which is a BIG red flag. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my post!
