Just saw there was a bit sale going on. I don't follow social media, so can anyone tell me if it is today only or does it last all weekend? I want to go grab a PSN card and buy some bits, but all stores are closed right now on the east coast. Earliest I can do it is tomorrow, but if the bit sale is off, it's not worth the bother.
Hmm, now it doesn't say anything about any % bonus or any bonus bits, but still has the same total. Must have been something weird in my game and that's the normal going rate (never checked into the 50 dollar one before)
Yeah, there's no bit sale going on. There is, however, still that rather lame sale on outfits and headgear that bypasses the most sought-after ones.
Yeah, when I checked the first time, it had a 30% more bits "sticker" over the 50 dollar one but it was like 4000 +1200 bonus equals 5200. When I went back hours later, the sticker was gone but the thing read 5200 +0 bonus. I am actually tempted to get 1 or 2 of the discounted ones, but the new ones that they put in that don't cost an arm and a leg (the EMC ones) were the ones I was really thinking about getting. I like the delta six also, but that 880 bits is just too steep (I did pick up one of the predator ones for 880 bits, but that was during the last bit sale when I got 20 bucks in bits).
Hopefully they will keep putting in new ones (not recolors) at a lower cost like the EMC ones, not raise up the ones on sale back to full price, and also drop the others in price some. Then I wouldn't wait until bit sales to buy anything more than 5 bucks in bits for inventory slots (which I don't need right now anyway).
I feel tempted to buy the EMC Loyalist headgear, but given that it doesnt match anything I'll have to ignore the "sale" and wait for a recolor. The scout headgear would look so much better if the visor thing was pulled down instead of up, looks like a one of those lil hats for toddlers.

One of my buddies got the loyalist headgear. I can't remember what he is wearing it with but it looks pretty good. Although a recolor would probably match more outfits.
I think the % bonus you were seeing was their bonus for spending more money. You get x bits for $5, a little bonus for $20 and twice that bonus for $50. The more you spend the more you get so to speak.
And you don't need to get one of those cards. You can buy bits through PSN.
It just caught me off guard cuz it usually doesn't have the sticker thing or list the extra bits as bonus bits. It reverted back when I checked on it again. I could go directly through PSN, but I like to do the cards. Saves me from having to put my info up, ya know lol
