The game has been out for only four months now, and the price drops just keep on comming... I have never seen such a game drop in price so dramatically in such a short period of time :/ Currently at the store I buy my games from, Defiance is sitting at a eyesore price of $30 New... There are plenty of much older games sitting on shelves that are still holding at a solid $50-$40 new.. Why is this game dropping in price so fast?
bad press, lack of sales, bad word of mouth about trion customer service and fixing problems in the game, lack of content etc.
because like me...no one plays the game no more..yea i understand there will always be SOME people playing..but NO...this game is done for..wont see me anymore..and for you trion fanboys, you cant have my stuff.

It shares many characteristics with a traditional MMO game as well as is missing many.. Bungie is just labeling it as a fancy "shared-world shooter," Thus, I will wait a few weeks or a few months before picking it up to hear some reviews first.
The only problem I have with using reviews with games like this is the bias reviewing that happens when game i hyped like Destiny is being. It looked cool in the preview, but didn't look like anything really new. It reminded me of Halo universe mixed with borderlands gameplay which isn't a bad thing.
Honestly, I have not been following Destiny. So when the reviews start to come out (obviously not going to trust just one or two) I will make a decision. As for my pride and joy, the game I have been waiting for years for, GTAV.. I already have the collectors edition on preorder. R* has never made a game I did not like. :P
the reason the price is dropping so much is that most console gamers have never played any other MMO and dont know that all of these issues are normal...... for someone that has played several mmos from launch i wasnt surprised by any of the issues that its had or the constant fixes that break other things.....
