the reason the price is dropping so much is that most console gamers have never played any other MMO and dont know that all of these issues are normal...... for someone that has played several mmos from launch i wasnt surprised by any of the issues that its had or the constant fixes that break other things.....

Alot of the issues from launch and all the bugs the games has, is not what ruined it for me.. It is the lack of content that put the stake through defiance for me.. I have played the game for maybe an hour in the past month of two because I just get bored of it and have nothing fun left to do..

Ive never seen an MMO with so little to do and no purpose for doing it. When someone says its B2P, and you can come back anytime your want, and then taking your statement about console gamers aren't use to it, then its all there.

Oh, and ive seen Defiance brand new for 25$, used for 15%. Pathetic!!!

I usually have a small number of games Ill pull a rotation with over 2 weeks or so to keep things fresh, defiance seems like its doing fine to me, considering its a game that I can put Back In the disc tray and see something different than when I abandoned it. As far as price goes whether its relative to variables like how well it did as an mmo etc i couldn't care that much, the Only games I notice Don't price drop rapidly are big name developers and trion is not that. I would have liked a less forgiving more skillfull >rpg< from defiance but it just went tps-dps-grind-fun. Maybe its because Defiance is a first console mmo that we are getting these "i don't play any more and I'm here to tell you I don't play and I am leaving the community that never welcomed me for six months While I still secretly play sometimes because I own it" types lol
I agree with players saying theres little to do, Though I relate it to the non existent progression.

The ME3 price drop was a pretty steep cliff if i remember correctly. All comes from people being overly whiny and feeling entitled.

Have you ever considered maybe if that many people are that unhappy its probably the product not the people.

With the rushed game due to meeting the demand of releasing it to coincide with the tv show, the product was a horrible mess. Then some of the dev's were downsized (either fired or moved to new departments or whatever) and having a smaller team try to take on the bug fixes and content.

But slowly the game is turning around, I just do not know if it is too little too late or not. Only time will tell.

I think i'm going to pass on destiny.. After Defiance, I have really been put off from MMO games coming to consoles. I'm waiting for GTA V

You do realize that Bungie is a MUCH bigger company with LOADS more money to put into a game right? Trion isn't anywhere NEAR Bungie. Bungie has the money to shove $100 million into a game. And Loads extra for Bug fixes and updates.

I mean Bungie signed a 10 year contract with Activision for Destiny. So this game WILL be huge. World of Warcraft has been out for 9 years. And look how much content is in that game now... And who makes WoW?

Honestly, I have not been following Destiny. So when the reviews start to come out (obviously not going to trust just one or two) I will make a decision. As for my pride and joy, the game I have been waiting for years for, GTAV.. I already have the collectors edition on preorder. R* has never made a game I did not like. :P

i havent really seen much on destiny yet...BUT i always take the time to get a game on my dev..play it and if its good ill buy it...to me destiny is just a dressed up halo with pretty much the same enemies...Elites? no now we got aliens with 4 arms instead of big mouths..seems alil bland even from the videos..devs at bungie need to get some new FRESH IDEAS

time will tell
