Nah Defiance is cheaper to buy than any other new release game in the same time frame.

There were websides (with valid codes!) that sold the game for 22€ on its original release.
Guess somebody over there took a great chance to get more money out of you guys, sorry for that. Lol.

So actually the price didn't really drop, you just chose the wrong retailer to buy from.

    P.S.
Console-game prices most often are over the rooftop anyways.

Funny how entitlement was brought up.... And not customer satisfaction. We were sold a game that was not ready for release. I'm willing to say I'm probably 25% of opening day still playing the game. I got so bored from 80% of the game being completed, that I started a new character. Funny part is, I thought I would have a orange by this time (roughly 250 ego now) my other 2 characters have hit oranges much, much earlier and have success with multiple oranges prior to 250. Trion doesn't care about the players cause they know this game is dead. No content, lies, shady customer service (or lack of it) and overall selling a bugging unplayable and unimaginative game style with issues left and right has made this a burden to play. Us seasoned players have seen too many ninja nerds with oranges drops for boxes that has made basically not care anymore. I haven't touched the game in 3 days now. Usually I'd play 2-5 hours a day 5-6 days a week. But this last week there's nothing really to do.
Cut ties with trion 100% and now surfing forums for people looking for their out off the wagon of trions aftermath. Pm me for details

    Contacted Microsoft
Informed of unplayablity with content and game.
    Refunded for season pass
Sold defiance to GameStop for $7.00 and put it towards gta 5
Contacted better business to inform of trions shady dealings.

... Boobs... Hmm? Oh yeah to subject, well it's generally lack of content and keeping people interested long enough. Hell it took quite a while before Trion announced their first DLC, that Casti pack or whatever.

EDIT: Then again Trion sell digi content in-game, so a price drop for the overall game itself isn't a bad thing every time.

There are plenty of much older games sitting on shelves that are still holding at a solid $50-$40 new.. Why is this game dropping in price so fast?
that might be an entirely sales tactic ,selling the game cheaper since they mainly sells digital ingame items wich gives them the most profit, you see out there tons of MMORPGs beign free to download ,you dont need to pay for the client/game and free to play as well, thye only gets profit by selling digital items n_n, i dont see anything weird here.

Problem is so many people got screwed over by boosts, bits, paid lockboxes etc there is many players who do not have any faith in Trion's in game stores any more and if the DLC does not hurry up; that number will increase.

They rushed a tie in game with minimal content to a show that can hardly stand on its own two legs. Its value dropped because it isn't worth $60 to begin with. Even they know it since they have recently given out 30% off coupon on Raptr.com

I chuckle at the notion of a season pass. Trion could learn a thing or two from ArenaNet and Guild Wars 2. That's how you support your ****ing game!
