Very nice game! Very fun.
It uses voxels just like Minecraft. So everything is blocky.
It is an adventure game. You CAN'T build landscapes like in Minecraft.
You can play it in multiplayer mode both for LAN and Internet. I haven't figured out how to do multiplayer yet.
The hard drive space for Defiance is 11,100,000,000 bytes (11.1 gigs). The hard disk space for Cube World is only 87,000,000 bytes (87 megs). Defiance is over 127 times larger than Cube World. And yet, Cube World's landscape is 100 times larger than Defiance's landscape...and you can also explore/fight underwater in Cube World!

I picked up my copy of Cube World for 19.90 USD
I was lucky enough to get it before the shop went down the second time. I've put a couple hours into it and I really like the game so far. It being only their alpha model for consumers I'm like an open cage of imagination flowing hoping for the best to come out of this game.
