I think they were hellbugs i mean, the arkfalls are crystals in the game when in the show they are parts of a ship or whatever.

Pretty sure those were hellbugs, funny that they look nothing like the ones we got in game, personally I find the shiney red lobster color they got ingame to be a bit bleh, having them dark greenish like the ones in that 14 min trailer would be better.
