Ignoring the Volge?

Want keys and exp, you tag minors. Want drops, you go do volge near fast travel spots others frequent. Between the two you do majors as well for random chance of stuff and keys once tagged.

That's pretty much how most are rolling at peak times. Otherwise they'll usually just do arkfalls and non volge minors for speed.

I was at Bug/Chug last night and saw a guy having a go at the V there so stopped to lend a hand and he promptly spawned his vehicle and drove off.

^This. These people piss me off and ruin the game for me. Also those who pull up, tag, then bail while I'm left with the extra Volge that dropped because they showed up.

Why? I haven't needed to do that with the Volge, but I did it a number of times with the Afflicted. If I'm leveling snipers or BMGs and someone comes launching stickies everywhere, there is no point in me staying. It's very hard to snipe targets that are bouncing around or have infections on them. And using a BMG would be pointless.

At that point, I might as well go find another emergency where I can get a shot in.

Everyone is skipping them now since they are very hard to beat solo. So now you can only find Volge emergencies since they are being skipped so that now there are no non-Volge ones to do. If I see someone working on one I will stop and help but since I am only trying to level the non-optimal weapons right now solo clearing them is not worth the frustration.

I only stop to fight Volge when others are around and/or my vehicle randomly explodes because server lag chose not to reveal the Volge emergency until I ran into it.

If I'm bored and feel like fighting something a little harder I might stop, but overall it is better loot and weapon exp to just do the hulker. Minor arkfalls are way better for exp and getting keys as well, so not much need to stop for them emergencies. Once sieges are out, I will start wanting to mess with the Volge more.

Honestly I totally agree with you, Defiance is kinda boring at the moment and it will only get worse with the release of new upcoming MMO's and other games as a lot of players will migrate to different games because Trion has given the community nothing to stay for. And honestly when the Forums are more active then the game it's kinda obvious that the game is dieing, They should never of introduced a selling post on the forums because if their wasn't one people would have to do it in game and that would add that extra MMO feeling to the game its self.

I personally think that the Volge should only be seen around/near arkfalls since they are discribed as ark hunters themselves.

I'm not ignoring the volge, anyways I don't know if it's because I did run maaaany volge emergencies on first days, but i have to confess that I'm kinda bored of these emergencies.

Although I don't want the volges to leave. Maybe a lesser frequency would work for my taste.
