Logitech Rumble Pad 2 or Logitech F310/F510/F710
    Variants in wired or wireless.
Native Windows recognition, and often native Xbox 360 compatible recognition.
The analogue sticks are of Playstation authentic quality (some say better).

You want something easier to use, then I'd say you're already there.

If you're playing on a PC nothings going to beat a Mouse / Keyboard for this kind of game especially vs a Controller - Not everyone's as good with a Controller as they are with the standard.

PvE Sure maybe but I watched some Xbox footage of someone trying to kill a hellbug and I think I'd be smashing my head against a TV - The Aiming along with the constant moving and jumping about of Hellbugs made it look terrible.

You can always try the other Pads they've released for the PC but honestly with so few buttons either go play Console or just stick to what you've got. This isn't wow where you have 101 Abilities you need to Hotkey :P

I've been thinking about a trackball for a long time, but I can't seem to find one I like. using the r.a.t. 7 mouse now

Sweet! Just got confirmation from Trion that there's no potential issues emulating a 360 controller. g13 analog stick for driving properly = yes.

    Yay!

I'll probably post a thread how to do this if other people want to know how.

I have one. They are super nice if you have a game like this one where there aren't a lot of key bindings. For MMOs what sucks is you don't really consider the number of other keys you might want to press. For example things like accessing the map, score tab, on top of normal key bindings.

The super nice part is it's 100% programmable so you can easily setup macros or other functions with it. I tend not to use the directional pad for movement and stick to WASD. This gives me up to 8 other buttons to program into it but I tend to just use the 4 (for weapons or abilities).

Mostly I use my Xbox360 wired controller and for some others I just use my Logitech G110 and my Razer Naga Molten
