I know you shouldn't assume BUT as the save character is on the Defiance server it should be transferable.
If I'm still playing by the time they finally remove the Region Lock, I'll be happy if I can transfer my character stuff over.

I know they originally announced that you would have to make a new character to do so (not sure if that has changed since then), but I imaging if enough players were to put up a thread requesting that characters be transferable they would probably consider putting it in a higher priority...
To be honest it makes more sence to be able to use the character you've spent God knows how many hours making rather than having to have different toons for different servers.
Removing the region lock fantastic - that will just screw things up even more. If they plan on doing it when they said they could not before why now.. smaller server populations so shove all xbox users on one of the servers that will really help..

She actually does have a really good point. If a lot of players leave one of the servers, that will essentially cause that server to die...
The game is already screwed up. And it's not shoving all the players together because if you READ The THREAD I posted, it is asking if the character data that is already achieved on one server will be able to switch to the desired server when the region lock is lifted, they are making it so that players have the choice same on the PC. Their not just shoving us all together like a bunch of animals at the zoo.
