Bolt Action Repeater Critical Hits Not Affecting Enemy After Resetting Weapon Mastery

I have a purple FRC bolt action repeater that no longer affects enemy forces when I get a critical hit. I see the critical hit indicator and the damage numbers but no impact on the target. Regular hits have normal effects. The symptom started after I reset mastery points on the weapon. Could the +10% crit mult from the hip be the problem? If so, can you set it to something else. This is on the CMac001c character.

These symptoms are associated with a level 170 Purple FRC Bolt Action Repeater, -0.1 recoil, 25% of stowed weapon clip reloaded on a kill. Reset mastery points roll +10% crit mult from hip.

I am curious as to what other Perks you happened to pick up when your game developed this issue?

I also respeced my Perks and have hit the same issue. The perks that I picked up are:

I just tested and the symptoms continue after the patch.

I didn't add any ego perks in the time period that the symptoms began. I have upgraded them. My ego settings as they currently are follow:

Cloak 4/5
Ambush 1/3
Execution 3/3
Shadowed Strike 3/3
Assassin's Cache 3/3
Thick Skinned 3/3
Scavenger 1/3

I have seen other threads indicating an association of equipping the Gunslinger perk (critical damage firing from the hip) and the sniper rifle criticals no longer having an effect. That is why I am suspicious of the weapon mastery perk that I picked up and the symptoms starting.

It is a bug on the bolt sniper for dif few ppl.

I have same problem with 2 bolts i use, 'VBI sniper blue' and 'VOT bolter purple'.
Critical hits dont register on hp bar or your weapon xp bar, but you do see the critical hit number on screen. No more hs with bolt sniper cos it just don't register.

It definitely takes the fun out of sniping. Not to mention that criticals are the key to making a slow firing weapon effective. I'll update this thread if I get some resolution on the ticket I submitted.

I made similar post on here, in bugs section, someone told me it was a bug/glitch 'for some' that came from 1.20 patch.

Seems they are aware of it, but.....No fix as yet.

but yes your right, takes fun out of sniping.

Just to eliminate a potential source of the symptoms, I repatched my XBox. No joy. The critical hits having no effect are still occurring. I updated the trouble-ticket as well.

I tested after the patch. No joy for me. My one bolt action sniper rifle is still not affecting enemy with critical hits.
