8, only because of issues like weapon vanishing bugs, some pursuits not working, and some pursuit rewards not unlocking. Other than that I can't wait for April 2nd.

I give it a 10 as far as beta's go, Since most people were winging about the servers, region lock and bs, my brother and I took a hard look at the details of a post-apocalyptic based world, from that standpoint alone I am really excited to play the game.

I give it a 6. Judging off it being a Beta? Server issues up the wazoo. Feels like a lack of content will be a major issue. Vehicles could be awesome but hitting the tiniest rock and coming to a complete stopped got really irritating really fast. So... 6. A little above average. Debating on getting the game anymore, but we'll see. The core concept is still good...

7- I know it is beta, but i do see lack of content as a problem. But I play Rift which Trion runs too and the daily/weekly/monthly events keep you on the your toes and make it fun to group up and defeat Rares. Hope this will be similar.

I'd say an eight or nine, so far. The grinding can be a bit repetitive, but all I've really been doing is farming arkfalls and doing "Rescue E-Reps" missions along the way. Despite the repetitive-ness, I really enjoy it.

I'm hoping they can sort out the server issues, though.

I give it an 8.5. I really love game so far. Bugs, glitches and server issues aside even as a beta I was pretty impressed. I've played a lot rougher betas for big market games. The speed at which they fixed the connection issues should be a good sign for us all that they are in this for the long haul. There are some things I'd like to see tweaked a bit more but I'll post a separate thread about that later. Thanks for the fun week Trion...looking forward to my amazon pre-order in the mail any day now

This is kind of a loaded question. A good Beta doesn't necessarily equate to a good underlying game. Honestly a Beta less then a week before launch is less a Beta, and more of a Demo. We weren't actually contributing all that much to the process. We were basically putting the servers through their paces, and frankly it should have run as smooth as it did. I applaud the developer for its competency, and it definitely resolved some lingering doubts. I would rate the Beta itself as a nine. The bugs I encountered weren't persistent, and there was nothing game breaking. So I could at least give them good feedback as far as content was concerned.

Speaking to the underlying game. I would have to rate it a safe seven. Mechanically it isn't really impressive as far as shooters are concerned. There just isn't a lot of nuance here that would lend itself to skilled play. While the character building is at the same time pretty shallow, and fairly pointless. I appreciate they want to maintain a certain high level of balance, but it is coming at the cost of the players sense of accomplishment. Leveling needed to come with more tangible results.

I played for quite some time, and while I felt like I was getting better at playing the game. I never felt like my in game character was improving. It really hurts the replay value when you don't feel like you are actually getting anywhere. That all said quantity has a quality all its own. This game appears to have a lot of content that is story driven. So while the combat and leveling didn't seem all that good to me. I see dozens of hours of story based missions to make this game well worth the price of admission.

I know it seems kind of perverse to be thinking in terms of a single player game, but personally I had to pull way back on my personal expectations. Was I the only one here who felt like the game wasn't actually doing anything to encourage teamwork. I mean think about the arkfalls for a moment. Was there any strategy, or did we all just mindlessly shoot for fifteen to twenty minutes. Mindless of just about everyone else around us.

I would at least try to revive downed players when I saw them, but I would get knocked down, and literally crawl away from danger towards other players. Just to have them ignore me as I laid there bleeding to death. I think it boils down to this. If everyone is exactly the same. Then everyone is basically expendable. I really doubt I would have died like that so many times if I had a actual role to play.
