If Diablo 3's release day and the latest SimCity launch is anythin' to go by then, yeah...
Still excited though, regardless of the impendin' dramas.

I can be patient, knowin' that I will eventually get to play.

FYI currently downloading the client now. And its not labeled as beta as the last one was...

i logged into account management today and its letting me download the pc client (non beta tab) so im doing that now. also delete your beta client first then do a fresh install we dont want any conflict errors

I downloaded the patcher fine but like many others i get the following message when I sign in:

Sign in successful but this account is not entitled to play Defiance.

I can only assume it is because I pre ordered through Steam (others are having the same issue) and that a pre load through Steam will be available soon.

i dun mind not having headstart. it wasn't advertised. even though i'm super bored and can't wait to play the game in a live environment.

anyways. i can download launcher, but get the not entitled to play error. no big deal, hopefully will go up this afternoon or this weekend sometime.

A few people in the various threads posted today, I'm not really worried though, unless this is an error on Trion's part (which I doubt) then I'm pretty sure things will be sorted before release day.

Yeah, with 5 days left until launch, I would've expected a preload of the game, so it's all ready to go. Otherwise, we're going to destroy their servers on launch day.

EDIT: Disregard above. If there's a non beta download, I'll check that out tonight. Is it downloading just the launcher, or the game itself?

just the launcher atm. just keep checking back to the forums regularly and you'll find out when we do.
