I am definitely not stoked about a SAW nerf. Yes, it might be a crutch, but I like erasing raiders with one burst, and taking out a Volge Trooper with a long overcharged burst.

So i still have to deal with growths blocking my aim? Also, nerfing the SAW does not make the other LMGs more attractive.

Now pretty much no one will use LMGs at all. The EMC LMG and all of it's variants are garbage, Rockers suck, etc. Especially when enemies are scaled up, the SAW was the only one worth using. Stop bringing things DOWN to match other weapons. That already didn't work with the Heavy Scattergun, which is pretty awful compared to the normal FRC Scattergun which is actually pretty great. SAWs did what they were supposed to. If you're gonna nerf it, lower the recoil & bloom.

And seriously, Assault Rifles have yet to see any changes. If you're not on PC, they're almost useless, save for the Blast Rifles. When it comes to balancing, you might wanna worry about stock stats instead of modded stats...

Umm is this how to make a bad game test? You keep going back n forward on your nerfs that dont five us faith that you know what your doing. You do know they going hate you if you touch there saw. I just dont get why your jekken with bs stuff instead of making the game fun you got us runing around getting key codes for a chance at a wep n thats i we sone beat everything im not buying any boost cause it broke as well got to come on forums try n fond what your looking for put up with trolls. Boy do i regreat paying 160 for this game. It broke its lame the show is good but the game is missing people with brains if you need any advice just read your bugg reports people i sent you stuff n the beta n its still broke now. How you going make a game with custom controls but wheb i change roll to lb it resets everytime done it since beta snipers need more ammo not pistols jek people

SAW’s – The SAW weapons (FRC SAW, Frontier SAW and Machinist’s Gun) were all outperforming both other light machine guns and many other weapons. We have lowered the damage on these weapons to bring their overall effective DPS back in line with other weapons.

Typical developer flawed thinking. "Oh the players love the SAW, so they aren't using the others... lets nerf this one so they will use the crappy ones as well." instead of "Hrmm everyone is using the SAW cause the other LMGs suck.. we need to upgrade those so they are a match for it.".

Thank god I already capped my LMG skill so I don't have to use them again.

1) 20% reduction in damage for SAW and 20% increase in damage for all other LMG should bring them a bit closer in power.

2) Reduction of the strength of visual impairments for infectors is solely needed and welcomed.

3) DPS reduction for infectors due to burst mod speed reduction is ok if it is only 5% difference.

4) Nano-effects cooldown, 1.5 second is too long. 1 second would be better.

5) Can we fix the shotgun mag mods and properties to be +1/+2/+3 already instead of x1.05/x1.10/x1.15 which is not enough to even add 1 more bullet?

And that's precisely why they're nerfing it.

I totally get why they want to nerf SAWs. I took out Nim in ten minutes yesterday with two syphon SAWs and Preparedness. SAWs are definitely powerful, but that's why they're fun. If someone wants a challenge they have the option of using a different weapon. If I have to grind for EGO or contracts I'd rather kick *** while I'm doing it.

I guarantee you the SAW will be one of the best weapons in the game still. lol

But you have to admit they are blatantly OP'd compared to pretty much anything in the game and can be used for any situation.
