    Yeah but who cares if someone does more damage in a coop map really? If someone cares they will switch to a saw and do that much damage themselves.

    Don't nerf the SAW!

    The SAW is fine, it is exactly what guns should be like!

    At ~30m an FRC AR for example can take up 25~30 bullets to destroy a Rhino-Shield (On a high EGO player with def. Perks).
    Dut to the low weapon accuracy you can't even aim for the head!

    That's the main problem!



    Instead of tuning down the SAW other weapon should be drastically buffed!
    The Disruptor and the Blast Rifle for example will extremely suffer from the Nano effect change,
    Without and compensation they will be even worse than they're now.
    And are already being outperfomred by their competitors!


    Please re-think nerfing the SAW.

    Possible fix:

    Increase over all falloff damage (+4) and accuracy and Assault Rifles (+15%).
    LMGs need a fire rate improvement (+1 for the Rocker. +3 for the Disruptor. +2 for the Thunder)



    SAWs are a good role model.
    Looking at non AR/LMG weaposn types I'ld say:
    Other Rifles/LMGs should be put to its (the SAW's) level.
    Not the other way round.

    Not really, for starters those numbers are not that impressive and indicate that the other players were most likely using non optimum weapons to level them. Secondly, you can do better with ground pounder aoe spam and wolfhound headshots.

    Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

    Derby, with the right mod setup and nano effect, FRC SAWs do far more damage than any other weapon in the game over enough time. While most people have to reload 5 or 6 times with any other weapon, a SAW can keep chugging away. Add in preparedness and two SAWs, and you start talking ridiculous amounts of possible damage. If you're unfamiliar with Preparedness, it reloads your stowed weapon over time. Take my SAW. 135-round belt, acid nano, recoil suppression, damage maximization on the barrel, and additional mag capacity on equip and mastery. I never, ever have to do a full reload unless I'm out of combat and just feel like it. They need something. You want to call it a nerf, I call it balance.

    My sidearm is a Wolfhound. Would you care to see the shot I have of doing 5 million damage with the same setup during a major arkfall, while everyone else barely made 1 mil?

    The saw is way too powerful and definitely needs the nerf to bring it inline with the other weapons. Usually when people flock to a weapon that tends to mean that it is a little too powerful.

    The other LMG's could use some buffs but the listed changes look like a good start to me.

    Best change is the 1.5 seconds nano cool-down. After this change you should see the other nano's become usable in PvP and syphon will stop being a requirement. Not to mention pve won't be so easy with syphon weapons (which is a good thing!).

    Radius of Big Boomers needs to be changed , its way too big. Maybe 0.5 cooldown on nano will be better? With 1.5sec cd you will trigger ur nano once in confrontatio nith someone else... pointless it will destroy most of shotguns and smgs

    no, if you are, your really to uptight, and that's why this is a game, not a career,

    why does it have to be so serious and complaints about weapons, when we still have critical erros after an hour of straight game play? yes going to home screen fixes this,

    but you are taking away players power in the PVE world, is this game battlefield or Defiance?

    it was sold as a MMORPG, no?

    if you nerf towards and for pvp elements, what does that make this game?

    no, just think about what ppl need in PVE, I play pvp more now, I deal with the same issues everyone else does, but it gives me a challenge and something different, why do we all have to go back to cloak and couriers and grind fraggers?

    can we just fist fight in pvp?
    and leave the weapons as they are in PVE? we need them, DLC should have some more unbalanced weapons, then what?

    Ppl need there gear..

    It's real easy to do 5 million plus at an arkfall with just a wolfhound so your screenshot isn't going prove anything that we don't already know. The saw is not as over powered as people are making it out to be, they're trying to justify a lapse in judgement with Trion, especially when the rest of the LMGs are terrible. Also, hardly anyone ever sits through a whole arkfall just to top the charts, they tag one and go, so that will also skew the numbers.
