    Why is ANYONE going to use a Disruptor Trion? WHY??

    To die faster? cmon now....even the Rockers suck...they do.

    I TRIED using it...that burst fire ruins the gun so much......crappy, crappy dps....

    I don't know why so many are in a tizzy about nerfed SAWs.

    I use, by preference, VBI TACC Autopistol and VBI HP-6 Wolfhounds. These pistols are fairly powerful. And with the right mods, can stomp even Volge.

    I think the main complaints (and I've played Eve Online for 10 years, and Anarchy Online for 12, so the next statement is a requirement) are from people who don't know or don't want to follow the old adage of "Adapt or DIE!".

    Yes, there are going to be balancing changes. Yes, you may not like them. But there is no skill required in 'whining', but some in 'adapting' to the changes.

    In playing the above mentioned MMOs, the devs did make some unpopular changes or balances. There were alot of rage quits by a few (hundred oft times). But the ones who adapted to the changes learned quickly to take advantage of them.

    Take the PROC nerf. Using a TACC subgun can often get you 5 procs per clip. At the rate of fire it has, that is insane. But having a proc only possible every 1.5 seconds (after the last one) brings the effect much more into balance. It does, however, mean those PVPers who RELIED on the TACC and the insane proc activation to rapidly kill others, to be a bit more circumspect.

    • FRC Heavy Scattergun – We have heard the complaints that the current version has nothing really unique about it that makes it a compelling choice. So, we are going back into it and increasing the number of pellets that it fires back up to 12, but dropping the damage per pellet to compensate for that. The overall damage if you hit with every pellet will be about the same as before.
    • Pistols – We are upping the ammo pool and the amount of ammo that you get from enemy drops to help keep some of the higher rate of fire pistols fed. You won’t see more ammo drops from enemies; just the amount of pistol ammo from each drop has gone up.
    • SAW’s – The SAW weapons (FRC SAW, Frontier SAW and Machinist’s Gun) were all outperforming both other light machine guns and many other weapons. We have lowered the damage on these weapons to bring their overall effective DPS back in line with other weapons.
    • Multi-Projectile Explosives – We are toning down the camera shake that you get from the explosions on the child projectiles. Getting several of these in an area was being more disruptive than we had intended because of overlapping effects. These should be much better in the future.
    • Infectors – We are removing the pulsing camera effect that remained on for the full duration of the DoT from the infector. This should make them less disruptive. We have also changed the burst size mod. It was setting the burst size to one, not adding one to the burst size, which can cause issues with very high Rate of Fire fully automatic infectors. We have changed these to just have a 10% increase in Rate of Fire.
    • Nano-Effects – Some weapons and mod combos were capable of getting nano-effect procs faster than was intended. We have added a 1.5 second cooldown to all the nano-effects. For most weapons, this will not be a noticeable change. For high rate of fire weapons, this should bring their proc rate over time more in line with lower rate of fire weapons.
    • Rocket Launchers – The prior balance passes on rockets took them down a little too far, so we are looking into bringing their power back up a bit to make them more balanced with other weapons.
    this is aload of bs now outbreakers and immunizers are rubbish but wait messing with infector burst mod but not ARS which the burst mod as the same effect and no sighn of trion fixing 45% speed boost on reload on shotguns which dominate pvp cloak/blur all game cant be seen and run at 100mph but instead they make bs changes, No changes to snipers lol i want a season pass refund and want to forget the wasted time on this game, but i wont hold my breath.

    Allright thinking it over i can agree that the saw needs somewhat of a nerf, my only worry now is that from past experience it will not only be somewhat of nerf but completely destroy the weapon.

    Yet you seem to want to make the SAW equal to it.
    Thats what happens when you nerf a weapon down to match a crap weapon.

    Weapons aren't supposed to be balanced.
    I dont use a sniper to do close in fighting, and using a shotgun for distance is a foolish plan.

    Who would have thought that a pistol could overpower a Squad Automatic Weapon?
    The Pentagon will save a fortune now that you've discovered how easy it is to do.

    Weapons have niches and purposes, and there are a lot of things a SAW isn't good at now. How many SAW rounds DO you think is a reasonable number to be required to put point blank into a raiders face to get him to settle down?
    Whatever number you decide on, the answer shouldn't be more than 5, and it's a lot more than that now.

    Everybody who isn't planning on the Wolfhound being turned into a paperweight is not paying attention.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
    Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
    I do not trust those people.

    Upcoming balances.... that's another term for WEAK SAUCE. Trion weakening the SAW is a terrible idea. It was the only fun effective weapon in the whole game as far as versatility. I'm glad I got my platinum, When I see how badly they destroy the saw I will probably delete defiance off my ps3. Only decent games with decent weapons deserve your time and effort. Balance, lol, how many people do you see using the bazooka's and LAWs, NONE, no one using rockets because of all the weapons in the game your rocket does 800-1200 damage? A ROCKET?! Seriously something that blows up tanks, and your giving it damage of 2 wolfhound bullets. This game's nerfing tactics are garbage. Instead of worrying about SAWs and Infectors, try to make the useless weapons better.

    Thank you for letting me pop your head like a zit in PVP, 50 head shots and all I got was a lousy T shirt.
