With the recent notes on how they are taking the nerf bat to saws and the buff to pistols seems to tell me that this forum will change into everybody wanting a pistol and ditching saws soon.

Pistols – We are upping the ammo pool and the amount of ammo that you get from enemy drops to help keep some of the higher rate of fire pistols fed. You won’t see more ammo drops from enemies; just the amount of pistol ammo from each drop has gone up.
SAW’s – The SAW weapons (FRC SAW, Frontier SAW and Machinist’s Gun) were all outperforming both other light machine guns and many other weapons. We have lowered the damage on these weapons to bring their overall effective DPS back in line with other weapons.
Pistols aren't getting a buff, but rather having their ammo pool increased. However, I think they completely missed the point as to why no one really uses an LMG other than the SAW. Cuz, only the saw doesn't suck
yes buff was probably not the best wording. but i believe pistols are highly underrated. great dmg and acc if they had a bigger ammo pool. now that they do, to me they become a way more viable weapon.Originally Posted by JxSiN
as for the saw i totally agree that the rest needed to be better. granted the saw was a bit high the nerf is to far. Now nobody will use any lmg. Glad my skills are maxed in lmg.

well the saw recoil does suck. but with grenadier, it works wonders against volge

A developer is only as good as the last thing they released.
-Rift- was why i was willing to spend $160 pre-ordering the ultimate edition of Defiance a couple weeks before launch.
-Defiance- is why i won't buy another Trion title at full price if at all.
Hopefully the ammo pool is increased for PVP and not just PVE, 30 rounds for a pistols vs hundreds for other guns killed any chance the pistol had of regular use in PVP.
Maybe if the other LMGs weren't such ABSOLUTE TRASH this wouldn't be as bothersome as it is now...

the saw was an over rated over valued weapon so its about time they did something about it lol ...glad i didnt trade god knows what to anyone . people wanted rediculous items and trades for the SAW good riddance .
