A Season Pass Question.

Before i ask i would just like to say i do like the game and have enjoyed playing it, the only reason i have stopped is because its become a little repetative to keep me interested.

Now what i want to know is, if the game dies or trion decide its not worth carrying on with due to the lack of interest, would they have to refund all of the season passes that were bought if they dont honour the deal.

I mean surly even if there are only ten players left on the servers they would have to honour the deal? or have they got a get out clause where if the servers drop under a certain amount they can use a get out of jail free card and just shut the whole thing down and run.

This is something to think about as more players are quitting due to the lack of Dlc content, maybe it is why Trion keep stalling the content.

Anyway id like to know other players thoughts on this, i also have the season pass but not really too bothered as it was bought with ms points from old traded games.

Please keep your thoughts polite as im not having a go at the game, im just curious.

I just had a quick scan through the user agreement and they seem to have it fairly well covered and that they "...do not give full or partial refunds for Subscription periods and/or downloadable content that you have purchased."

Very unlikely that any refunds will be given. If they do decide its not worth making new content due to lack of players, I would think that they would literally just make a new car as one of the bits of dlc and maybe a gun or something as another. That way they have fulfilled the "5 pieces of dlc" in the season pass.

OP, I understand where you're coming from, one thing to keep in mind is that by selling the season pass on consoles, Trion has a contract with Sony and Microsoft that some form of content will be available. If they decide that the game isn't worth expanding, they will still have to offer some form of content based on their contracts.

there is a small loop hole if they don't make dlc within a year of lanch yes Trion whould have to but if they relas a dlc (no matter how big or how small of a change to the game) befor the one year is up they don't have to refund any ms/psn/steam points to the owner of the season pass. yes i know I bought the season pass also.

All they realy have to do is move the truck from the shop to the season pass and blam! DLC

Technically, if the DLC is going to be $10, the truck costs more (in bits). That defies all reasonable logic, but price wise I can see that justifying it to them.
