    Well put OP, couldnt agree more. For my own PvE progression, Id love to get it back in the fonal build. But something needs to be done about it for PvP.... theres no way around it. Hopefully Trion nerfs the PvE aspects so it doesnt effect all the folks out there who love it for everything else

    It's been said that effects of the Plasma Pulser were just placeholders, and that the Alpha and Beta had already patched the effects of the plasma pulser. But on the topic of it, I was one of the first people to get it, and use it in pvp. First game I had it, I went 28-6 just jumping around like an idiot with zero effort. The zero recoil, high capacity, decent fire rate, AoE damage, and high DPS are what make it OP. The combination of all that, is just unbelievably OP. I was able to keep a whole team of people from even reaching B objective on Freight Yard.

    glad u brought this topic up, that gun in a large arkfall was just way overpowered...

    Hopefully u are all correct and they have adjusted it for launch.

    You do realize that you level your own weapons in pvp?

    With all of the options in each weapon type, they would need huge amounts of variants.

    i agree that the guns were told to be place holders before but they do make it pretty unbalanced to the point of frustration against people using it in pvp. makes a complete mess of doing any sniping or clearing out mobs from a distance when the explosions make it unbelieveably hard to see the heads. while i do revel in the challenge of killing these guys before they get to me with a headshot when i do get ambushed its a one sided fight. i hope theres a good way that they can get rid of the explosions but still give other players the visibility and opportunity to be able to pull their own weight in a match whether pvp or co op. tell u the truth id like to see the weapon stay in the game just nerfed a bit to try to be on lvl with other players gear that they get. might even be better to have it be available as a specific color rarity or ranking limitation, but thats just me and my oppinions.

Low ranking people playing with higher ranking people with higher ranking weapons (better weapons) make pvp toally unbalanced along with the outrageous weapons they let you use in it. PvP should've had set classes or a balanced out selection of weapons for everyone to choose from in pvp only. Shadow Wars should be the only mode that lets you keep you're ranked weapons from pve since it takes place in the open world.

    I made a new character just to see how pvp was vs higher ranking and i did just fine, The only differences between the two is perks and bonuses on their Shield/Weapon.

    That ridiculous Plasma Pulse gun aside, I don't think PvP rewards higher EGO rating players unfairly. Skill seems to be the deciding factor in most cases. Regardless if they have that pulse gun or not, they still arent going to get any shots off if I come up behind them cloaked with a sawed off lol (probably another combo people are not too thrilled with but damnit if its not satisfying ) I think the sawed off has a good balance of risk Vs. reward. High burst damage with ridiculously long reload time etc. Even rockets/detonators seem to have counter strategy's. I think aside from the Plasma Pulse gun PvP was mostly fun/balanced a lot of the time.
