    - All enemies in Arkfalls now grant weapon experience.
    Finally.

And as many others have said, leave the EGO slot unlock numbers alone. Or at the very least, the final should be at about 3000 EGO minimum. With the changes now you "punish" players who are between 2000-4000 ish. Slot unlock on weapons skyrocket, and at 1600-ish(correct me if I'm wrong) you don't get weapons with 4 unlocked slots until 4000+. With these proposed changes I might as well start an alt instead of lvl'ing further with my 3500-ish char. Only reason now to get to 4000+(?) is the extra weapon bonuses, but damn that's a long grind without any carrots in between 1000-4000. I want carrots!

Massive change in the perk slot unlocks. Too far imo.

In a game people get bored of, why give it out so dramatically easily whereas they could at least show some enthusiasm to get unlocks as an objective.

    /blink

If anything, Defiance should be figuring out a thousand and one more ways to implement various forms of grind. The trick, of course, is to frame it in the illusion that it's more than just a spreadsheet game when a player is looking at the grind. That is what game design is all about, and why you guys are paid the big bucks.

Edit: The hellbug arkfall change is good, but I loled at the idea that anyone actually yells at the noobs. I can't even remember the last time I saw anything in public chat.
I think the main issue is that public chat by default is turned off, or at least it was turned off when I saw it for the first time o_o

I like the lowered perk requirements. I understand those at 4000+ are a bit miffed, but do you really want this game to survive on the handful of hardcore players? Not that there shouldn't be hardcore content, but people who start this game will be seriously turned off from the game when they find out they need to grind to such lengths just to be able to use more than 5 perks.

I guess the changes are fine if they implement a reason to actually lvl higher than 1500-1600 EGO.

...until they hit 1000 and start asking "Why am I still playing this game?"

So lame, they nerf good stuff and change great one to the death point!
There is no point in gaining EGO now, at ego power 1k you will be the same as player ego 4-5k (like me), who is spent like 30 days into the game to achieve this!
I think i had enough of this already, i rarely enter in the game and play (last night 2 dc just blow my mood away)!
Time is the only resource which you can not afford to waste!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but i thought that we were actually playing a MMO game. What's the point of giving away all the perks after only a few hours of gameplay? Are we all a bunch of kids who can't stand having to wait to get their goodies?

I'm EGO 2150 and was actually having fun trying to reach the requirements needed to build a better character. With the proposed change, another incentive to play and invest more time in the game is just being thrown away. Truth is, Trion is probably seeing more and more people drawn away from the game. Instead of giving us things to make us play more, they nerf and dumb down the game, as if it were a regular TPS with a very short lifespan. This game is looking less and less as an MMO and becomes harder and harder to defend.
