A couple things that were mentioned that I find very useful in any MMO's are auction houses and banks/guild (clan) banks. I'm sure though it will be added someday with an expansion at least I hope.

Agree with almost everything except pets, what i would like the most however is an expansion to go to Defiance. It'll kill the premise that was originally planned but later on down the road maybe they can work something up.

More world to explore, more instanced "dungeons", more customization, more creatures in the world, more alien races to play, more vehicles (I thought it was part of the lore that there were no flying vehicles, but saw them many times in the beta), a hub town, player housing, pets... that's about all I can think of at the moment.
More world to explore could mean another pocket of surviving humans and aliens, and even make you play as another character. Since I'm from Texas I of course vote for Texas to be the setting. There's a variety of terrain here, plus the terraforming factor.
One thing I didn't notice until about the last day of the beta was there's no searching of containers. Boxes, crates, barrels, lockers, dead bodies, etc. Random items could respawn every hour or so, nothing too rare, maybe even just some cash. I know that's not DLC material exactly but I always like searching for things in RPGs.

More pvp options like clan wars. Shadow wars and battleground matches will get boring rather quickly. Basically there the same thing. Only differences are u can spawn an atv at anytime in shadow war and more people can participate. Other than that they are the exact same thing just random meaningless resapwn pvp that gets old quick and isn't very balanced atm.
Two hub worlds/regions, weapons besides guns, weaponized vehicles or the ability to shoot from the vehicle as a passenger, and...player character voices.
