Locked Threads?

Why are threads regarding weapon nerfs getting locked, i have read the forum moderators reasons but to be honest they are rubbish when you actually read the posts in a thread. They say they respect everyones views even if they are critical or complaining, but then lock the thread that is just that.

I have seen about three weapon nerf threads locked now and none of them seem to be insultive or disrespectful, they are just gamers wanting to know why.

So what id like to see from a moderator if possible is a full breakdown of what is and isnt aloud on here and how they actually judge what is and isnt seen?

They'll leave one open as long as it stays constructive. They lock multiple threads, threads that degenerate into arguing, petition threads AND threads that ask about locked threads.

Because complaining about the samething over and over and over is pointless. And the forums should be used for something that matters.... Not...

This is pretty much the case. If you haven't read it, feel free to take a look at our Code of Conduct to see our guidelines. The problem with several of the recent discussions was that they were violating that code of conduct, or that they simply weren't constructive posts to begin with. In some cases, users piled into the thread and made it the sort of thing that doesn't help to engender discussion.

My advice would be this: don't post when you're angry. It doesn't help to create the discussion you want to have, and instead serves to make that discussion a thing that simply won't happen. Take the time to cool off and consider how you want to say something before you say it. That way, we'll all be a bit happier.

Most of the ppl here are only writing when they are angry.
If everything was alright for them there would not be a reason to write.
I am okay with this attitude, i see it in a wide number of forums.

In the army they told me:
If you are angry about anything here wait at least 8 to 12 hours before you complain or starting a discussion. Usually i got to bed and sleept some hours. If it made me still mad in the morning, i went to an officer and told him what was up.
That way many problems are solved in less time and - what really matters - by using less ressources.

But the point in all of these close threads was something like:
Why are you nerving a weapon that is mostly used in PvE?
As far as i am concerned, it is quite a good question.
But since it is mostly used in PvE, why are you all complaining? The usual defiance Mobs dies pretty fast, an exception my or not be the volge...

I guess it is just because you ppl bought SAWs for really insane amount of scrips and in the near future they are not worth what you payed for anymore. But that is not the DEVs fault. They never told you to pay millions of scrips for a weapon because it is the best LMG at the moment.

Why did you buy them at these prices then?

Was it not clear enough that these weapons are way overpowered? Oo
The only thing that matters for the Devs is:
Most ppl just use SAWs, why is that?
Because all the other LMGs pretty much suck compared to a SAW.
It may have been be a better way to get all the weapons pretty much in line with it. But as there so many ppl complaining about the lack of content, nearly no endgame, pvp balance issues, buggy quest, missing vendors at certaint states in the campaign and so forth, i can unterstand why they nerve one weapon, to get it back in line with the others. It is way faster to do. And they got other problems to solve.
Ppl want the DLC, want more keys, more legendaries, more endgame, want the sieges back, want, want want...
Let them do their work, dammit!
Stop complaining about bullshtako.
The sooner you all stop behaving like children, the sooner they can fix the real problems.

And stop buying weapons for these insane amount of scrips.
If they are way overpowered, they gonna get nerved sooner or later. It is simple as that.
