Toxic doesn't work at all my friend.

Toxic has always worked for me. I just ran a week of nano-effect tests, and have concrete evidence on the effects of toxic (20% base damage increase while proc'd, anywhere from 18-20% increased crit damage, lasts anywhere from 1-3 seconds).

i think he was confused on the yellow sludge and radiation
many people call the radiation sign - corrosive/toxic

Quite possibly. I didn't test radiation enough to really see the difference. But I tested the crap out of toxic (the yellow bird poo symbol-- so pun intended).

Radiation works fine. Toxic has supposedly never really worked properly. If they fixed it recently than that's awesome. But as of two weeks ago it definitely did nothing at all and is basically like having a colorful non elemental gun. Now non elemental guns do tend to have bonus's to damage or fire rate of something, but not all of them do. It's super inconsistent really.
