Anyone else use an Xbox Controller on the PC?

Defiance is very obviously a console game and while I do use Keyboard, mouse and even have a Logitech G13 Pad for some games I've found for Defiance my Xbox Controller (connected USB) works best.

My only issue is I can't figure out where the tuck and roll replacement is on the controller....So I tend to use my pinky yo hit the ALT key on the keyboard when I need to get away fast.

Nope, you're only making yourself less effective.

If you play your PC games via your TV and you sit on the couch, then yeah I can see the benefit.

Not a chance, I turned off aim-bot as soon as I logged in and noticed it.

People on consoles rely on software that is considered cheating on a PC to make up for how terrible controllers are for anything in 3-D.

It would be nice if the menus were up to PC quality though, they feel very console-like to me. Over-layered(?), sluggish, and divided into little, wee sections so the controller doesn't get scared by too many scary options.

Make sure you have the Controller UI turned on in the Mouse Settings Menu. To dodge/roll you just move in that direction and double tap the B (red) button. I can use either mouse/keyboard or controller but this game, being mainly a console game, works better for me with a controller. Borderlands 1&2 are the same way.

For this game I think it's the opposite....I've found I'm quite faster at aiming, weapon switching and generally most any other action....and now that I know how to roll thanks to angryglock I can't see a reason to play this game with a mouse (with exception to the menus which I mouse and keyboard).

I would highly recommend a ps3 or xbox controller for the pc. I'm using a ps3 controller but the pc thinks its an xbox, but yes B or circle should already be mapped to roll/crouch.

In battle I use both the controller and mouse. Controller to move, and mouse to aim and shoot.

I use a Xbox controller in the right hand and a mouse in the left... It is a Logitech g300 mouse with lots of buttons and the tight half of the controller lets me do most everything . Being left handed the keyboard mouse doesn't work that well for me .

This. My brother thinks I'm crazy and just gimping myself by not switching over to K&M but if it works it works!
