If all you seasoned players have not noticed yet every patch n every nerf is to suit players who barely play. go ahead make it easier to get that last perk everyone already knows gettin 5000 ego is a joke.... lets make 4000 ego one too lmao... if you were working towards making people do less work which means less play than congrats good job. also lets make up our minds nerf buff nerf items... lower/ increase arkfalls. i have been playing and defending this game far to long. if dlc is a joke like u seem to make everything else....well.... i hardly doubt ill ever buy any game you participate in again....what a great idea but oh so poorly managed

I must say I think it is patronising in the extreme to advertise a competition on servers that are not able to compete in them - open to US residents only?!? It shows a complete lack of any thought towards non US gamers, why bother selling the game outside of the states?

i think they are making perks available at lower ego levels. right now you get your last one at ego 4000. dunno what it will be. not really thrilled about that personally, but i heard a rumor (just a rumor as i have seen no proof) that they were adding base stats or something to weapons, with higher ego weapons getting better stats. once again, i have seen no proof of this rumor.

I'm pretty sure that we all agree that reaching a very high EGO is probably not very beneficial. I do agree that we should unlock perk slots at an earlier stage in the EGO ladder.

One of the big issues in the current system: We get too much EGO perk points than the limited number of perk slots we have (If you stick to optimizing 1 loadout); Add in the fact that it takes huge amounts of time to unlock all of them.

If you find a good build of perks, you would want to optimize that build. You would want to max out this/that perk and spend a moment to find what you want. At 1,000 EGO, you would have access to all the slots. But, if they make this change, I don't think a person at EGO 1,000 would have more EGO perk points than someone of a higher EGO.

Now, lets look at the loadouts. Someone of a higher EGO would have an easier time to change between loadouts, if they use them. Instead of the option to respec, you could easily change your loadout (for example, cloak with good cloak perks in loadout 1, and the same type of setup for overcharge in the next) with just a few buttons. It does have some use in PVP/PVE. You would be unable to have this benefit, if you are using a low EGO character. However, I don't even think that this benefit is even used.

IMO, it was probably not a good idea to add perk slots as a reward for higher EGO levels.

80% of the perks are just ok.... you only have to work your way to a select few of perks and if you recieve all slots early than who cares about max ego or even 4000 ego. its a mix of things like how about nerfing n rebuffing weapons and arkfalls. shows they dont know what to do. clan boosts dont work now they only did half the time before. people can still shld glitch. they constantly change the lockbox luck and never tell us. the list goes on. work on actually making the game function and maybe give us a dlc... i love the game but if they dont get it together D3 and destiny will be it for this game. its sad too cuz i have invested so much into this game .

thing i thought of when i saw this was the fact they never mentiond this on the last one so does that mean that all non us gamers who took part acctualy had no possibility of getting into the show even though they talked us all into taking part i think so yet again they obviosly lied to us and i think as per usual trion have yet again got there prioritys wrong
