I got to EGO 4000 just yesterday...

Even though I have been playing since game launched and spent a long long time getting to 4000 to get those 9 Perk Slots unlocked... I am in support of TRION lowering the EGO rating requirement to unlock Perk slots.

Now I just wish they would lower Salvage costs... or I am just better off starting new Character that gets to EGO 1000 within a week of play and then try very hard not to level any further (as in no more Pursuit business).

Start a new character we were talking about this today and seemed what most people thought could take too long for another patch to reduce salvage, mod costs etc.

I'm with cusman. EGO ~3200 here and I'm glad they're making the gap between min and max characters faster to close.

At 5000 everything is 4-slots open, so salvage costs aren't really a problem anymore. Those lower EGO oranges will eventually be replaced with 5000 versions so probably better to sell them off to players who'll get more use out of them.

I'm still hunting for 'perfect' grenades and shields at 5000, once I've got them then it'll be time to start an alt for me.

As with the new patch, I'm also thinking of making a new character. Just going to collect all the script and transfer it to the new one. Can't take too long to reach EGO 2000 again, not now when I know what perks to pick and be able to have 9 after a week’s casual play.... Who know, the new one might have better luck with the lockboxes making orange picks at EGO 100-200? I mean, now that I can start by buying like 50 T3 right at first logg on...
