    An interesting find

I have multiple monitors and usually watch Netflix when I am browsing or playing games; currently I have been watching the whole Primeval series since I never saw it on TV (I don't watch much TV). Anyway in season 3 episode 7 Tony Curran, who plays Datak Tarr, played a knight which surprised me since I have never him in anything else. I went to IMDB and found he has quite an impressive filmography both in movies and TV.

    Here's the link http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0192889/?ref_=tt_cl_t4

I haven't looked up any of the other actor from Defiance but I'm sure we might be surprised at their acting careers.

    I totally missed that one.

Actually it would be interesting and fun if everyone could post who they have seen before and which movie/TV show.

Jamie Murray I have seen in Hustle, Warehouse 13, Dexter and the Bill(She was in a few episodes, her daddy was a main cast character)

Julie Benz; Buffy, No Ordinary Family, Dexter and Rambo.

I have seen some of the others about but those are the ones I remember without looking it up.

Julie Benz, also played in Boondock Saints 2: All Saints day, as the FBI agent.

I find it funny that Tonny Curran played a voice in Epic Mickey 2. Lol

Saw an old Movie on TV a couple of Days ago. "Flight of the Phoenix", starring Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Giovanni Ribisi amongst others... Spotted Tony Curran right away...

I liked MirrorMask and recognized Stephanie Leonidas through interviews about the TV-show..

Many of the actors in Defiance are pretty accomplished. Tony Curran has been in a bunch of movies and co-starred one of the best Doctor Who episodes ever, Graham Greene is probably the most recognizable aboriginal actor in Canada and Julie Benz/Jaime Murray have done a lot of shows.

It's actually cool they have a good mix of young and accomplished actors. Probably the only show I can think of that has at least 3 aboriginal actors in roles that do not involve or play on their heritage/identity/ancestry.

Dang! I thought I might be the first to mention MirrorMask. A little strange, but quite a good film and Ms Leonidas was pretty darn good in it. (Has to carry more or less the whole movie, it doesn't have a big cast.)

I was stuck on where I'd seen Grant Bowler before, and I had no clue here I'd seen Mia Kirchner before. I recognised most of the major cast. Tony Curran was the big bad guy in the second Underworld film, but he started off life on kid's TV in the UK. Julie Benz was the glorious Darla. Jamie Murray is just a goddess...

For me the cast is filled with familiar faces, even some of the guest stars have been very recognizable.

Amanda's ex-boyfriend was in the NA version of Queer As Folk, has been on Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order: SVU, Desperate Housewives. The actress that plays Kenya was in The Black Dahlia, has done a lot of guest appearances, is in a new series Graceland, and did The L Word. Two actresses-Amanda and Stahma were in Dexter among a lot of other things. Nicky has had a very long established acting career. Rafe of course as well. Sukar has been in many things. Nolan-has done a lot of things, as well as Ugly Betty and True Blood.

Just go to IMDB and look at the full cast and see what they've been in and be amazed. Fantastic cast and again, I was impressed when I saw who was going to be in Defiance. I think the fact that a lot of these actors do have other demands is one reason why the show might not come back for a freaking year.
