I myself really like the light machine guns with rocket/grenade launcher for back up with overcharge as my main and using blur for back up if things get to hairy.

Can you unlock all ego powers in game and perks? Any way I'm heavily leaning towards blur or cloak now. I want to be the demon of CQ engagements. But cloak is so fun with shotgun.

roll insta recloak lol it was fun doing that in PVP.
But blurr is awesome seeing as you can get that perk that allows you to move faster when your shields are down.

I will most likely go for Full auto assault rifles AR style(like the gladiator not like them blast rifles) they have decent kick to damage and when modified they kick out great damage. Though I might also dabble here in there with the LMG as the first one I found in the beta was slow and horrible so I never touched it until later when a Tier 3 lockbox awarded me one and it was just as fast as my AR however it was only good at midrange but kicked out more damage so I am debating on that one.
as for secondary I loved the grenade launcher the one that could shoot off 5 separate shots then you could remotely detonate them. However there was a double barrel shotgun that had sticky grenades it fired and that was kinda cool too if the reload was faster I might look into that of course leveling it to ten could help improve it or make it worth it .

I feel like going Assault rifle but I tend to do that all the time so I think I may go cloak, sniper rifle, and then a pistol as my main just because I never really used the rifles that much in any other game. Figured I could at least start with Defiance and get somewhat good at them or something.
I used cloak and AR's I found it useful when I was overwhelmed all of a sudden or accidentally got in the middle of a ambush I could cloak and reposition myself and even use my weapon and recloack while the power was active.
Thought I was going to go healer... beta destroyed that idea for me. So cloak will now be my friend... that and a VOT plasma smg... those are sickening awesome (though I have a feeling they will be nerfing them or making them really hard to find)

Yeah I don't care what others were saying that gun was funny. Heard there is a LMG plasma version I want to try.
