My newbie alternate character woke up as a COG for some reason.

There is an issue where if you belong to one clan and start a new character, you can still hear and even talk to that clan using the new character-even if you are in another clan with that new character. Or if you are in no clan with the new one.

I'm assuming you joined both clans but joined one with one character and the other with your new character.

It happens a lot. In our clan chat we often hear people who are in different clans but have alts in our clan. It seems to be that the game recognizes in some way both the GT and the character name (xbox for example). It actually would make more sense for the game to use GTs, PSNids, or your log in ID to show your clan affiliation rather than by character but I don't know how people would feel about this. I think you should only be able to be in one clan per account, but others might feel differently about it.

The shared chat can make one appear to be talking to himself ...

And the clan invites are auto accept if you don't do anything I think. That is actually how I joined YWBA and COG lol.

Minor issues but bugs nevertheless.

I logged on to find myself in CoG yesterday. I posted about this bug weeks ago, but no one else really seemed to be seeing it at that time. CoG is the 5th clan I've been randomly inserted into while offline. One of these days, I'll get inserted into something I'll just stay in. HAH.

I'm not sure on the auto-accept. Someone threw a random YWBA invite at me last weekend, but it never auto-inserted me.
