    1. Only thing holding me back is the little info there is on the game from gamesites and the lack of previews.
    2. Also there are alot of negative reactions on Defiance. So thats basicly why I haven't pre-ordered it yet.
    3. And i'm kinda worried it gets repetitive very very fast.

Also did you play alone or with friends? Because I don't really have friends who are gonna play this sooner or later, so I'm kinda relying on single player and just meeting people and hoping I can join a fun clan or something.
The game is not yet out, so there may not be very much attention on other gaming sites yet, but there were often streams on twitch.tv, and lots on youtube now. pcgamer.com just released a review.

most of the negative reactions you see on the forums are just complaints. Very few who are happy take the time to say "hey you're doing great". A lot of these complaints that you see aren't really valid concerns. A lot were complaining about the time in beta, or that the first day of beta there were connection problems and lag... these were expected to happen during the beta test, and a lot of people just didn't understand that the point of testing was to find these problems now instead of later!

some complain about the graphics, what do you think? I think they look fine. If you do as well, you'll understand why I don't put too much faith in those people.

I can't really find any legitimately negative reactions, other than the UI, but that will be improved over time.

repetitive, well, it's a video game, everything about them is repetitive, you've always dragging your mouse to the target and clicking, that's what it is :P

As for the overall challenges, yeah, they might get repetitive, because you'll complete the store missions pretty quickly. New content will be delivered every 2 months or so for you to enjoy.

I played alone, but I would also prefer a clan. It's a good group of people that bring you back to playing, and hopefully, there will be some challenging end-game type content to really pull in the clans. You can probably find some good people in the forums, there are clan/guild forums somewhere I think.

If it's the cost, it's already on sale online for PC for around $40 in places if you look.

Ok jhea, you got some good points. Graphics are fine for an MMO shooter. And indeed its always clicking with your mouse. Anyway i'll probably buy it for the MMO reason and because its a shooter. I tried WoW, Tera, and other MMORPG's but I never get to end game because it's too boring. I love shooters. Playing Bioshock Infinite at the moment. I'm gonna wait for a while but i'll probably pick Difiance up.

To reply on your last subject, where are these online sales? I can only find it on steam for 50 euro's (60 dollars)

    Hey Elite
Bleak Iron an Fros have it right. Dont base it off of ppl who bw&m about a beta, ITS gonna show the Trolls an the true gamers an set it apart. I played the beta - yes there were some quirks, but you know what...its a great game for the cost. I pre-ordered it for my ps3 an in my honest op its just as easy an straight forward as Borderlands but on a larger scale. Ride the Lightning an Join the Fight!! O enjoy

Steam's exploding in tier bonus progression today. They're already 26% at this point into tier 2 when they were still just before tier 1 unlock yesterday.

not steam, but with the $ you save, just buy a few items in the real money shop, that way you get exactly what you want

Jhea but do you really think the 20 extra dollars/euro's is worth to get it on steam?

I say wait if you're unsure you want to buy it. I played the beta and LOVED IT. But I have no idea what the end-game content is like, and that can make or break an MMO. Only time will tell if it will be worth the money.

I pre-ordered it, but that's more to support the show than because I'm SURE the game will be amazing.

I think if you watched any streams of this game, you'll know within 20mintues if you like this game... I knew in about 3minutes. If you were to get the Gamestop Ultimate Edition for $149.99, which included the season pass that is another 10GB of content, even if it didn't get the season pass, this would be a steal. The amount of hours you'll put into this vs how much you paid for it when comparing the value versus other games. Defiance will be the best investment you'll make fir gamin entertainment and that's using the $149 as the price range. Totally worth it.
