most of the negative reactions you see on the forums are just complaints. Very few who are happy take the time to say "hey you're doing great". A lot of these complaints that you see aren't really valid concerns. A lot were complaining about the time in beta, or that the first day of beta there were connection problems and lag... these were expected to happen during the beta test, and a lot of people just didn't understand that the point of testing was to find these problems now instead of later!
some complain about the graphics, what do you think? I think they look fine. If you do as well, you'll understand why I don't put too much faith in those people.
I can't really find any legitimately negative reactions, other than the UI, but that will be improved over time.
repetitive, well, it's a video game, everything about them is repetitive, you've always dragging your mouse to the target and clicking, that's what it is :P
As for the overall challenges, yeah, they might get repetitive, because you'll complete the store missions pretty quickly. New content will be delivered every 2 months or so for you to enjoy.
I played alone, but I would also prefer a clan. It's a good group of people that bring you back to playing, and hopefully, there will be some challenging end-game type content to really pull in the clans. You can probably find some good people in the forums, there are clan/guild forums somewhere I think.
If it's the cost, it's already on sale online for PC for around $40 in places if you look.
