    Hold your complaints

A lot of ppl are bothered by how lvl 1000 unlocks you all perk slots. And in turn it cut the challenge of the game in half and is a slap in the face to higher level players who went through the tough grind of the Defiance's beginnings.

But for all we know is that the DLC might have new perks/weapon types that are only unlockable when reaching a certain level requirement. Those leveled perks/weapons could be unlocked every thousand lvls. And that would be more then enough to entice players towards character progression.

I don't doubt something like this since Trion has said that they recognize the expressed concern of lacking MMO/RPG elements in Defiance.

So watch this be the case in some way or another when the first DLC drops.

Until then Im holding my judgment towards the current changes because with such a big change there has to be a rhyme or reason.

They already did say there would be new perks added. A whole lot of people just seem unable to handle change. I know there are considerations but I do think we have no idea if the whole player interface may in fact have some changes to it, since they have taken to heart some inventory and salvage matrix suggestions. It's wait and see, and I suggested it's possible they may do what you are suggesting too.

The charge weapons will have a melee component-this leaves open the possibility for perks more specifically related to that style of play (not just the Blur stuff). There will also be turrets and it doesn't seem that perks we have now can be related to their use. So, who knows. We'll see.

They gave us a reason. They want all players to be able to play with perks.

They also said they are listening to us. And then they went and patched in all the changes without implementing any of players suggestions.

    Metascore: 65/100. Nuff said.

    Something here feels horribly wrong.

It's entirely possible the the SAW nerf is a direct result of these new perks, or abilities. We will see.

okay, when is this dlc change coming?
not just a patch with nerfs?

some of us are always in a state of change, and since this was marketed and sold as a so called MMORPG, change was gonna happen, but where is this #1 DLC, and in which dlc will there be there new perks, new items, gear or rewards?
and if dlc #1 took this long, how long will the others one take?

this community is turning into a bunch of know it all's, but yet nothing is being delivered, sooooo

where is this change you speak of? thats not from a random patch with more nerfs..

    where is it?
get at me and let me know,, I will prob be trolling now, like you, cause the game is dead flat now..

the forums a more fun then the game now..

Trion has done nothing so far in the game to suggest that they want to give support to higher ego players so even if they do release higher ego content their current moves only show that they will eventually lower it.

Yes, I noticed that last night after I patched. Maybe it won't happen at all, who knows.

Leveling in most games is a progression. Leveling in defiance is a punishment. Taking away the leveling incentive, as sad as it was has caused an imbalance in the leveling system.

They do need to get more players into pvp. And maybe this was a step in the right direction. But it seems they have broken one thing by fixing another.
