    Just ordered the SE and got the pre-order bonus code emailed through immediately. Still not got the codes from my UE ordered a long time ago.

    Are we ever getting this statement from Sledge or whoever it was?

    He said he's working on it. It's not a simple issue. The game comes out in a few days so give him a day or so and he might have an answer.

    Amazon is offering alternate way of 'compensation' which is a way of ordering a standard edition and then accepting it with a full refund when UE arrives. This is for of compensation is it not? so yeah at the end of the day you do compensate in a way.
    I'm sure you'll understand that I'm not able to go into detail about what we're trying to do to help our customers just now. It may seem like splitting hairs but I wouldn't consider this compensation. I would just consider it normal Amazon customer service. We always do our best to offer alternatives for our customers when these things happen. To us that's not compensation. Just good service. Anyway I would definitely advise you to contact customer services about your pre-order and hopefully they'll arrange something for you.
