    the release date their going on about is the 12th dude... I'm guessing we're just gonna have to face a simple choice... either wait it out and hope it arrives earlier or cancel the UE and miss out on all the goodies cause I really cant see them accepting and refunding (in full) any SE or CE copies that have been opened, they can send me a thousands emails saying that they will but at the end of the day their job is to be the face of amazon & keep us happy, the "returns center" wont give 2 ****s... a third option is to keep the UE order, buy a SE copy & trade it in & pray your local game aint got to many pre-owned copies for a decent price, might loose a tenner (maybe more cause its coded up for ONLINE ONLY ffs) but you get the game on release

    I know this.. Thats why i clearly state that the email just repeats the said earlier email that everyone received.. And as for not being able to return.. This is why you get them to confirm your return.. Like i did.. Twice.. With 2 different customer service advisors.. I have manuscripts of the conversation where i clearly state i would be returning a game that has had its seal broken and they confirmed they would take this in.. On the condition that i paid for the return cost.. If they then decide upon me returning it that im not allowed then they have given me false information from the beginning and have forced me to buy an item i do not require therefore making it easier for me to get into contact again with my PROOF that i was promised this deal. But again.. We can ALL only wait till the UE turns up and actually send the SE back

    They are non-existent in the UK.. And Game will only stock the SE and a crappy LE copy because they too are not stocking the collectors now :S

    I figured it out... I've been wondering what it was about the UE that would hold it up, but not the other editions... All I can come up with is that the hellbug statues sprang to life and took off with the shnazzy messenger bags...

    Well, Sledge will get back to us as soon as he can. He can't just make up an answer. Rob Hill or Nick B or maybe even Lars Butler has to check with Namco and Amazon.co.uk and determine what the issue is and then workout a solution. Then Trion can develop a statement that Sledge will pass on to us. This all can take time.

    I feel for the pain this has caused the Xbox community in the UK, but a solution isn't ready until it's ready.

    Er thanks for that Macdeath. I appreciate you stating the obvious, but nothing about my message was rude or offensive and I'm not exactly asking him to make up an answer either. Clarification is needed though as Sledge has implied they already have the answer and 'will outline what is happening'. The issue is the vagueness of the statement.

    e.g Saying 'We should hopefully have an update for you within the next 24/48/72hrs' is a lot better than just saying 'we have an update incoming'.

    You know as we'll as I do that if you don't offer a provisional timescale (even if it turns out to be unrealistic and needs to be changed - standard customer service does this all the time) then people will keep asking.

    I am not being critical of Sledge or anyone's efforts - they do a fantastic job. This however is a major ****-up and it needs a little more care and understanding. Also, I wasn't quite expecting your abrasive tone this early in the morning. Thank you so much for pointing out that I can always cancel my UE and get the SE if I don't have the patience. I hope that you don't work in customer service...
