Speak to Amazon and get them to agree to let you BUY the standard edition which you will be allowed to OPEN and USE and then return when your UE turns up.

I know most of my forum members have done it and got an email sent by them as cover.

Other then that it isn't Amazon's fault, they can't sell you something that hasn't been sent to them yet.

So do we ask them to give us it free of charge or pay another £40 to get it?

I'm in the same boat - Really can't afford to pay for the game twice, even if they end up refunding one....

I'm guessing I'll just try and buy a copy locally on Tuesday morning.....

You pay for it normally, and return it for a Refund... so yes you pay the £40.

They could, after all given it has a 10GB minimum it will likely need installing from disc the problem is someone has to PAY for Microsoft to host it / cover the bandwidth and most devs / publishers can't afford the fee.

GAME has just taken out the money for my Limited Edition pre-order guess i'm not getting the UE after all.

Think I'm going to get an SE from shopto (not trusting the 'purchase/play/return/refund SE via Amazon due to mixed messages from them*) but will leave my UE order hold until at least Tuesday when I can check how each copy is linked.

If the UE extras are linked separately then I'll keep it on order and then trade in the UE sealed copy when it arrives. However, if I find out via the SE on Tuesday that each console can only be linked once then I'll cancel the UE.

Make sense? Phew! :-)

pricey007 this is an exctract i took of the Trion accounts page under settings /link console. it states (To link your Trion Worlds account to your console, enter the 15-digit code from the game.
Your Trion Worlds account can only be linked with one console per platform.) we may need clarification from an official source as to wether we can link more than one code to our accounts due to this c**k up.

Apparently it's got nothing to do with Amazon as to why it's delayed. They claim that the fault of the delay is totally due to the "manufacturer", and that the update stating that it has been delayed for these reasons was made by the manufacturer themselves.

It's all a bit annoy though, really. The people who decided to pre-order the game, and spend the most money on the product will be the ones to receive the product last. I personally would like to believe that we would receive some sort of compensation for this, but something tells me that won't be the case...
