Yeah well I want a city that has content in it, not just a place to pose around. Crafting, and minigames, and emergencies in some of the shady side streets, and npcs who give out repeatable missions. Buildings to run around in with all these things going down as well. A bar you can get an actual drink at and fall into the street "drunk" (visual effects, and speech slurring would be nice too, if chat was actually a thing haha).

That would be a great addition to the game.

Me, I don't want a city, and I guess lot of us don't want it, city are only crowded for nothing more than lag and childish comment and zone chat...

Anyway, I didn't buy this game to be in the city of Defiance, it would have be boring, there is nothing to do in this city for an arkhunter, how many arkfall do they have in the area (I guess arkfall spawn rate had been too much nerfed here)? Where are all the raiders, I didn't see any Ninety-Niners or Dark maters, nothing to do and nothing to kill, pretty boring for a shooter game...

We need a small trading hub with some sort of auctioneer. I don't see the point in wasting time on making a city like Defiance.

Oh and before someone attacks me for my Join date, and lack of posting, the Join date is indicitive of when I joined the forums, not when I started playing the game. I have never seen a need to post prior to today, and probably won't post very often from here on out either.

I have watched the show since the Pilot first aired, and have been enjoying the game since I was accepted into Alpha, and yes I did some posting on that account, which sadly wasn't this one. I was accepted on my Free to 20 Rift account that I made when I lost access to this one. When I paid for Defiance I added it to the same account that I have my Rift account on.

They could stick in another city, don't need it to be Defiance (though I wouldn't object, it IS the name of the game after all)...I reckon as I said earlier that they signed something with the TV guys that prevents them from using that particular city (or it might be something as simple as they can't justify the expense of the TV characters' voice salaries). They could give us other characters to interact with and keep our interaction with the main characters as episode missions, pretty sure normal gamers wouldn't complain if they did this.

A city would be something cool, no idea why anyone would be against it, even if their computer is a pos most people like a city.

I've heard that fort defiance is in the Bay Area and back around launch there were people who found a way into the "dark area" and supposedly found what looked like a big hub like area (or city if you perfer) under construction
