Whats better for Outbreakers, Strain Mitigator or Viral Accelerator?

Just picked up an Outbreaker, never used them before.
Not sure which barrel is right for them.

Right now, Strain Mitigator, the extra burst makes it an ideal weapon for shooting the crystal at crystal destroy arkfalls. Get there right at start and just keep shooting crystal (tagging things along way for ammo) and easy score 700k or more,

There is a patch coming that will reduce this benefit but we don't know when.

You're thinking of the Strain Reducer. You want the one that increases DMG, although be wary, bug damage in the stats is not actually the damage from the bugs. http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...infector+guide

Thanks for linking the guide, never seen it before.
From it I take that the Viral Accelerator is the way to go.
