Defiance server trouble

I can't get on at all. Just tried over 10 times and it won't connect. Why does it say "Your connection to the DEFIANCE servers has timed out?" I'm pretty sure MY connection isn't the issue and it would be more accurate to state that "The DEFIANCE servers have failed to connect you, again."

Yep - this is it exactly, my connection is good enough for everything else in the house, but apparently Defiance tonight is just too much...

So How many more posts & threads get ignored on this before they even post one word on the issue?

i'm on the east coast and i'm getting the same error code as you guys. i have no clue if i'll be able to play at all tonight. if it isn't working by 10:30 ET i think i'll play something else

the downtime note says july 15th 8 p.m PT, so the downtime shouldn't have started until 11 o'clock ET. seems they started about 5 hours early and it still isn't working

It still doesn't make sense why I haven't been able to get on since 7pm EST in this POS game yet friends and clan mates of mine get disconnected like clock work in this game as usual but yet they are still able to get on and play up until now.

The 15th is for EU servers, NA servers are on the 16. Unless Trion got their dates backwards. I've been trying to log in on & off since 7 pm EST with no luck.

7:30pm Pacific time here and have been haveing the same "Critical Error" crap for a while now.

oh ok didn't realise what EU meant.........stupid me i guess. now it makes absolutely no sense for it to be down. besides a massive mess up by Trion
