Well, when we got together, he was more the PC gamer and I played now and then on his PS1. But he bought me a PS2 for my 30th, and then a PS3 after our second child was born 'Quote: A bunch of flowers wasn't going to cut it'. So we kinda switched roles, and now I do it mostly for the social side too , fun to game, but its even better with friends!

I was married for 23 years and then got divorced. Since then its been GAMING HEAVEN!!!! I play what I want when I want. I spent Christmas day playing Battlefield 3. No 4 hour drive to her parents. No stuffy family dinner where you eat Lasagna instead of Turkey( shes Italian ). No boring conversations with sibling-in-laws and family friends straight outta the cast of the Addams Family. AND NO FIGHT ON THE 4 HOUR DRIVE HOME BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO GET OUT OF THERE AND END THE MADNESS ALREADY!! Men and Women should NOT co-habitate. Hook up, have kids, maybe see a movie or go to a water park. Sure, but at the end of the day, go to your seperate domiciles and enjoy yourselves.

Ps. I'm sure it's the same way with women who game and there husbands don't (but I don't think I've ever met a guy who doesn't game)
Try gaming with a deaf mute for a wife . It makes for interesting gaming. We both game we have kids. We have no lives.

I have no kids or wife or GF. I am in loser mode, but I got a potential date with a girl that works at the mall a year younger than me and she games.

Hi, my name is MFK, and its been 10 hours since my last gaming session, and I hate it when my husband turns down the tv so low I can barely hear it so that it doesn't wake him. I know the answer is to buy a proper headset, but that raises its own issues (along the lines of 'wha? talkin' to me? wha? hang on, wha? oh g'night then' or 'I was yelling/laughing/screeching? oh sorry' )
