    These suggestions have been brought again and again in numerous previous threads before and after game release (not criticizing your thread, they are good suggestions) and Trion already saw all of them and more, they just don't give a crap or like Twwix put it more diplomatically "they just chose to ignore them all".
    As for the rewritten chat system (i 'll believe it when i see it) if they manage to get it to work properly without breaking some other part or parts of the game (and given their track record its a more than likely possibility) then great, a bit too little too late but great anyway.
    Thing is the chat system is only a small part of what is wrong with this sub-par, amateurish UI, the look, feel and functionality of their current UI is what you expect to see in a pre-alpha version of a game, bare minimum functionality, simplistic design, lacking polish etc...
    Actually this all game seems designed around the "bare minimum functionality that we can get away with" idea.

    You'll get used to the radial menu. What's really irritating is when it pops up on its own when opening the map or character sheet (might just be me).

    Fast travel on the map is getting fixed Soon™ (probably the DLC patch). Icons won't be stacked up anymore.

    Basically a standard system with private channels, filters, options, etc. He didn't mention some key things, however (if I remember correctly), like if the HUD chat window was being changed or if it's just that silly Full Chat Window, or if we'll still have oversized, randomly disappearing text on HUD chat.

    The backstory of the chat fixes was also interesting. Apparently Defiance doesn't have a dedicated UI/UX guy, and he eventually volunteered to fix the chat because nobody else would step up. Says a lot about the obvious and ongoing management failures over there.

    The chat issue was bought up pretty much the first day Alpha players logged in. That's when the promises started.

    Yep. And that's the only thing Trion is capable of accomplishing these days. Empty promises.

    I hope that they can deliver on the new chat system, and if they do it correctly then maybe they can get the UI in order.
