    Respec

    Hi there

Just trying to get abit more info on respec

It's saying it will cost me 12,000 scrip to do this

Now does this work exactly? Does it just give me back an individual upgrade or does it allow me to respec all my EGO upgrades and start from scratch?

    Thanks in advance

It resets every single EGO point, and you can add points from scratch again.

    Ok so I'm EGO level 1550 and I've upgraded/unlocked 55 perks

If I was to respec for 12,000 scrip will I then have 55 EGO points to re distribute?

Also when I do this will all the perks be locked again until I open a perk next to the one I want or will all my current perks I have now be unlocked but with no EGO points assigned to them?

or before you buy with ego points to restart perks, after respecing. go to http://defiance-central.com/ an use their ego calculator. that way you know what your spending, where your spending, before you spend it.

I'm Ego 24xx and just respeced. I had a bunch of oddball perks that I don't use. After I gave myself back all the perks I use most, I ended up with 54 Ego points left. I tried lots of crazy builds which I'm sure I'll buy back at some point. I might wait until after the DLC just in case some new perks come out.

respec is such a waste as eventually, you get all the perks anyway. If you buy a bad perk, just wait as you will get enough points to buy better ones. The ones I left to the end were all melee perks.
