Is every sight mod a sniper scope?

I noticed that in the 360 beta every mod I bought that was a sight mod turned every gun into a sniper rifle, even the BMG. Granted it was a beta and I'm not complaining I am just curious really. I know the content was slimmed down for the beta weekend I just want to know if anyone found like a laser sight or just an enhanced zoom from the 3rd person?

Nope, I certainly didn't, the Commando scope was the weakest scope there was and even that's excessive.

the only point of a scope is accuracy, if you need more accuracy on a gun like the gladiator its time to switch to a different weapon type.

i believe hes talking about other sight enhancements other than the scope such as the red dot in halo

I mentioned this in my beta summary as well. I tested three or 4 different weapons and sights and it turned them all into sniper rifles. I too...would prefer to keep certain weapons in the 3rd person but still get the benefit of the mod.

i know this, but a sniper scope on a double barrel shotguns seem pretty useless

I tested all sights in the BETA and every gun had a choice between and iron sights upgrade or an actual scope. So to answer your question no not all of them add a scope.
