The Synergys have nothing to do with the class, an outlaw gets the same bounus from a Machinist synergy as a machinist gets. They just used the same naming styles, which I think is a mistake because of the confusion it causes.
There is "Bullet Storm" synergy on weapons (faster rate of fire after full reload). Whoever think it has anything to do with "classes" - try to create character with "class" named like that.
I'd like to see an official Trion response to it because by looking at this screenshot, taken from the video posted a bit up in this thread, it certainly LOOKS like the Machinist origin is getting a bonus for this particular weapon. So, an official yes or no would clear things up quite nicely.

Some weapons have perks specific to your class, but that's the only difference I've seen so far. Beta wasn't big enough to find out if there are similar weapons with bonuses for each of the classes, or if they really just gave the sweet bonuses to specific classes for specific weapons. Rambling sentence, but you get what I mean.....I hope.

The "class" bonuses aren't for classes for the final ****ing time. A few of the synergy bonuses just happen to share titles with the origins. They are stats that are part of a set.
there is a base class so to speak. you do get a tiny bit more out of your weapon class your character starts with. say your an engineer you get more out of LMG than any other type of starting class
So you must not have seen the weapons that specifically said they had a bonus for Machinist, or similar.

Not sure why I can't get this through to you. Countless others and myself who did extensive testing have shown time and time again that Synergy Stats are just additional stats displayed on higher tier'd weapons, it just happens that 4 of them share names with classes. It does not matter what class you are the bonus is just named after the class I've personally tested it, all you're going on is you've seen it and don't understand the mechanic.
Perhaps if you won't take it from me you'll take it from Phoenix. If that's not enough credibility to you I wish you the best running around with your level 100 ego weapon because you think the "Class Specific" bonus is giving you more damage output than your new level 200 orange you found with a Synergy for a class you don't play.
