When given a choice, I tend to play female characters. Has nothing to do with feeling gay by looking at male characters - its partly because the female form is much more pleasing to the eye and the fact I play a guy in the game of real life in which I like to escape from as much as possible and what better way than to play the opposite (some say better) sex?

Oh and in some games female characters are treated differently. Won't name names but I know of one specific game if you play a male character you have to jump thru hoops and bend over backwards to please a sexist NPC but if you are female said person is downright nice to you so you are able to move on with the quest at a much quicker pace.

Anyway. I am in no way bothered by playing either male or female. It's a game. It's meant to be fun. Some people just read into things when there is nothing to be read into.

No way :O People actually say this on xbox? The menfolk have got more used to us on the PC platform. Though they do tend to try turn the chat into an attempt to pick you up if you end up in a chat channel alone with them.
